Starting off in 2000, with nothing more then 2 blue Numark belt driven turntables to teach himself on, Cloudkicker has been developing his skills that will enable him to destroy every sound system Denver has to offer. With an undying love for the music and the rave scene, Dale Coy Cox AKA Cloudkicker has witnessed the ongoing and intense changes in the Colorado rave scene, and has stuck by it through thick and thin. Cloudkicker’s style has been built off of many early influences. Giving the likes of Kimball Collins, Jon Bishop, Dave Ralph and local legends like DJ Mello-D and EvenflO, Cloudkicker has continued to morph his sounds into something more he could call his own. In 2003 his ears where quickly drawn to the deep dark epic sounds of UK HardDance. Being infatuated by the styles of Eddie Halliwell, Anne Savage, Lee Haslam, Scott Bond and a handful of other UK DJ’s and producers. Cloudkicker finally knew what he could give back to the Colorado rave scene that has given him so much. After years of dedication, Cloudkicker got his first break in ‘03 when he finally saw his name on a flyer, after that he knew that he could never give up. Now in 2005 Cloudkicker has been invited into the Subterrania crew and has started his own production company, PKU Productions, he now knows that this is only the beginning.
